In the shadow of the château of Lord Godefroid de Bouillon, travel through space and time whilst sitting comfortably in our medieval lounge which has just been created at the initiative of a fan of the flavours of the past, Patrick Verhulst, owner of the hotel restaurant Cosy.

The tasting of medieval dishes will enable you to see that middle-age gastronomy offers a wealth of intoxicating and exotic flavours and smells.

Our recipes are taken from the main reference works left from the middle age, and particularly "Viandier", cookery book written by Guillaume Tirel who worked in the kitchens of Charles IV and Philippe VI, kings of France in the XIVth century and also the "Ménagier de Paris" written around 1395, which has four hundred medieval recipes.
